Patrick Kupper has recently published the first volume of utb’s Umweltgeschichte: Einführungen in die Geschichtswissenschaft. Aimed at teachers and undergraduate students, the book presents the larger themes of European environmental history together with key concepts and methods. Kupper is currently the director of the Institute for History and European Ethnology at the University of Innsbruck and is a member of the Society of Fellows as of 2010.
