At the recent World Congress for Environmental History in Oulu, Finland, several Society of Fellows members were elected as new board members for the International Consortium of Environmental History Organizations (ICEHO). Claudia Leal is now President and Ruth Morgan Secretary, while John Agbonifo, Roberta Biasillo, Sandra Swart, and Mu Cao will serve as ordinary members. Together with Marco Armiero, Rohan D’Souza, Micheline Cariño, Kathleen Brosnan, and Mark Madison, as well as Jessica DeWitt and Jonatan Palmblad, they will work to promote the confluence of different environmental history initiatives and to organize the next World Congress of Environmental History in 2029.
