Together with Nicholas Breyfogle and Alexandra Bekasova, Society of Fellows member David Moon has co-edited a new volume focusing on ‘place’ and ‘nature’ in lands that have come under Russian and Soviet rule. Based on place-specific case studies in northwestern Russia, the book explores the importance of local environments and the human-nature nexus.
