Dominic Hinde is a lecturer in Digital Media and Communication at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, and a former European correspondent for the print and broadcast media. His research deals with
the relationship between media practice, modernity, and the Anthropocene. In 2017 he held an IASH postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Edinburgh working on the same themes, and previously ran the Edinburgh sustainable media collective POST. Dominic has also published one volume of documentary journalism, A Utopia Like Any Other,
on Sweden, and continues to write for the media on a regular basis. He is currently working on a new narrative non-fiction project on energy and society in Scotland.
