Kate Rigby has been selected to receive a Alexander von Humboldt Professorship. In this second selection round for the 2022 Humboldt Professorship, ten scholars from the fields of economic theory, bioinformatics, neurosciences, cellular biology, computer science, AI ethics, machine learning, and—with Rigby—environmental humanities won this prestigious research award. Kate Rigby was nominated by the University of Cologne and will switch from Bath Spa University, UK to Cologne next year.
